Dear students and parents,
I hope you are well and keeping busy during this time away from school. The staff of Mell have been working hard to come with ways to keep in touch with students and to provide work and activities for children to do while at home. Over the next few days, each teacher will provide their class with an email via their website blog so the children can access work and get in touch with their teacher for a chat or to share some of their amazing work!
Later this week a text will go out to all parents to let you know when you can come to school to collect you child’s schoolbooks. All schoolbooks will be left in individual piles in the hall to be collected. Please adhere to the social distancing we will have in place to ensure that the process of collecting the schoolbooks is prompt and safe.
Although the work your teacher leaves you is important, so is, going outside, staying active, helping around the house and spending time with the people you are around each day.
I will regularly upload a riddle for you to try and solve at home! Have a competition with your siblings or parents to see who can solve it the quickest! I will also upload a recipe or fun activity you can do at home.
Keep an eye on the website over the coming days for more updates.
If I can help in anyway during this time, please get in touch through our email address; firstname.lastname@example.org
